Just like a photograph

Just like a photograph

A Poem by Ashes
"

...you live too much in the past.

"

You're like a photograph
faded, folded and worn
as you replay old memories...

A family smiling
with mother in the middle
and little brother behind big sister
happy and carefree
if you ignore all the lying...

and it can't be told
if you're in full color
or black and white with too many shades of grey
just that you're here,
you saw,
if only until the ink is gone.
