What's left behind

What's left behind

A Poem by Ashes
"

For the newest generation, this is what you leave behind.

"

Is this what you leave behind?
Reality made of lies
heartfelt minds
pushed aside for convenient ties
and outlaws punished by guilty powers

Police state nation
lead by a master-president
selected by the next corporation
ready for war
as the leader weaves tales of terror

Say hello to freedom
for the new generation
raised in apathy
and living in fear
with your mistakes

This is what's left
a blinded people
a military nation
the legacy of those
who come before
the conquer

This is what you leave behind.

Ashes
I keep getting older people telling me I need a dose of reality on how the world works when I tell them I'm an anarchist. Well here's a little dose of reality for them. :D

I'm with you, Ashes. I worry constantly about the kind of world we're creating. The poem is very well worded. Samuel
