Tales of the Sky

Tales of the Sky

A Poem by Phillip Wolke
"

Sometimes it's best just to give in.

"

Have you ever seen the sky so clear and tasted liberation?

Have you seen the sky all full of stars and clouds and seen the destination?

I stood under the scape of light omitted from the moon.

I saw the people dancing,

I saw the craters of the creators,

I saw the sky's lagoon.

Full of watery white beings,

I began seeing things untold,

I started losing myself to the mother's folds.

I was content,

I gave consent,

I made a tent and sat there.

Staring at me it looked down,

Staring at me from the clouds.
