Keep Our Walls Unbroken

Keep Our Walls Unbroken

A Poem by Pi Cee

Don't break these walls,
They're all some of us have.
They keep away wanderers like you,
who seek to break and change and take.
I need them, they need them.
Don't try to open a closed person,
it's not who they are.
Don't let them trust you, don't let me
you'll just hurt everybody, crush their dreams, spirits
Don't try to help
we all know you won't
You lead in destruction of our person, and torment to our lives
So for the good of our world, of yours, leave us be
Let our barriers, space, detachment to you be.
Keep these walls unbroken.

This one is pure "Tough Love"
You wrote it well - minor stumble of flow that are acceptable for the content.

. brilliantly written ... i believe that the way to break walls is by inspiring change ... 'leading by example' is what works, if at all ... otherwise we have to accept walls ... people have reasons for them ... walls are symptoms ... not the ailment ... addressing symptoms never helps ... as this write indicates in poetic terms ...
