The Dreams of Youth

The Dreams of Youth

A Poem by Pi Cee

Castles,

of kings and queens and fairies that roam

Of princes wives dressed in lace of the finest

Munchkins and witches and yellow brick roads

Moats and dragons and draw bridges

Soldiers in armor who draw swords born in jewels

Cinderella and her prince

Snow White and her dwarves

The tales and tracks and dreams we're told

Staying up at night, getting lost within the worlds

A child's first dream, and forever what we'll hold.
