Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark

A Poem by piccolabeth

You're ocean deep
only waist heigh.
You rest on your knees and ask me to pray -
How do I know of God?
How do I know of God?
I've seen him before
And Know of the flood.
I'm floating just for you.

This could be simply my interpretation, but I do find it true that those who question the faith and truth of others aren't so faithful and truthful themselves. Narrow mindedness is waist high, quite unlike the ocean. To get as deep as the ocean (pardon the symbolism) you must open your mind to the truths of others. Short and sweet, and excellent write.

Thanks for the feedback. I've never out my poetry out there before. I've edited what I originally wrote as I had initially jotted it down from memory but later found the original!
