Innocent Dust

Innocent Dust

A Poem by B

Where does innocence find home ?

When the jury set up the grounds of justice
Some feathers elapsed thuderous storms

Setting a dust form of cloudy wants

Tonight as the witnesses form the crowd
The obvious scene was one too far

Beyond a bellowed star

Some whispers threw kisses through the wind
As the bells charmed an enchanted dream

Below the curtains of blue hope

As love would come and surely go
Tenderly placid breaks would slow

Another imagined times for mystique words

Tonight as the heart beats timidly
It lays confined within the rules of love

Chanters of mere distance roamed

Once truly known a shimmering dust
Resting innocence it is the host

Of all the places hiding fear
Innocence will find a home

Thank you WW
I think the home of innocence begins in the womb.
We seem to lose it after that.

Or hide it
that way no one tampers with it
thanks paul
sounds so simple eh!? but seems a very complicated process for innocence to find a home ... fears i think may take much more to watch them loose power ...then comes innocence perhaps ... very thought provoking poem for me ma'am ..love your closing ...
