Roses of MayA Poem by BShades of sombering red If he would escape just that thought In colorful arrays they stay Some place where lines of linen white Caved a beauty in summering May A canvas of lingering lights stained Tender to the sight upon given lights Resonance to a twinkled green Feeling the love of his life Longing for guilty tones Diminished upon a steering moon As roses remain to a calm A cooling color of the night He walked another spun off road Of bushes claimed through starry nights Touching auburn petals once known Labeled in black and white If roses do bud in May Some hearts sit in form Wondering if he should call her name Would echoes of life unite
