Dawning Shades

Dawning Shades

A Poem by B

Some sort of touch
Escaping time

Defying logic
Making claims

Through waves
Lost to a case

Left to hope
Should this be

Saying so little
Yet not much

Innocently waiting
Learning of change

Caring for a hold
Riding the unknown

Alone in a world
Guilty of love

There is a lovely, swift flow to this poem, even more brisk than your usual style.....

"Alone in a world, guilty of love". Those words speak volumes of a sweet suffering. One should never be guilty of love. It should be found, embraced and then one shall never be alone.

She still lingers and she still writes. Another lovely poem.

Thanks doodley
I am still warming up into my own style
Thanks
it is really tough when we love and are not loved back...we wonder if we have done something wrong not to have that love reciprocated...and wonder why we have been put into solitary confinement.
