Gone to Green

Gone to Green

A Poem by B

Artful in such ways
Strolling through the day
Carrying the soul
The realm of should bes
Rose timid upon a stream
Life is his dream
Smiling willow so it seems
Known in coasted gleams
Lilies tied to breath
For all that lies beneath
This roof like home
Being the curve like tone
Carrying stone feet
Towards another clean
Flowered world of sways
To be another one at bay
Tonight a whisper would fly
Across the meadowing shy

This is highly original writing done with a ton of nature imagery. I love how your sparkling impressions convey both the sensations of a place & the feelings of a mood. I like how you seem to contrast "gone to green" (title) with the content of your message. "Gone to Green" seems to imply things that might have a more spring-like essence, whereas your descriptions remind me of autumn. I love this juxtaposition. After all, in California, every season is green! And I love what green signifies: LIFE! Your poem is full of life (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

nature to poetry and vice versa...excellent slant rhyme...there is so much green...and yet the fall will bring out the once shy colors...the rose maybe timid but it really wants to bloom....and it should get a chance...
flowers need to bloom before fall...before they die...they hope to overcome the shy.
