Abstract Life

Abstract Life

A Poem by Harlequinn Diamond
"

Written for a newspaper competition. Didnt win. Bummer.

"

Burning a hole inside me,

Like white hot tar,

Glowing a blue corn moon,

A pink and green star.

Lighting my life up,

With the glimmer of a bulb,

Hard and intoxious,

I’m already sold.

Caterwauling emotion,

Like glitter in wave,

Sweat from the ceiling,

In a 3am rave.

Early evening sickness,

And daffodil dew,

My abstract life,

Experienced by few...
