I am without.

I am without.

A Poem by Placenta
"

Inspired by a recent poet on here.

"

by the moon he whispers

soft midnight sighs

and by daylight

he holds me tight

Oh god, he excites me

in his presence

and by the thought

of his green-pool eyes

and the love he's sought

and he reminds me

of days much younger

and kisses wrapped

in soda-pop tingles

and fingers snapped

where love was possible

in simple ways

and nothing could amount

to our nights and days.

His absence, hell.

I writhe at night

and my head is naught

where is should be,

and tears are fraught

and when it comes

to sleep,

I do not.

I am empty without

I am empty without.

I am empty without.
