The day my sun shone

The day my sun shone

A Poem by Plane Jade

Once there was a woman trapped by shadows
forever lost and tripping in the dark.
She spent many hours begging for the
sun to shine and warm her heart.

The woman wanted nothing more
than to feel the morning warmth.
So when she started feeling changes
she'd hoped her future had come fourth.

For many nights she had grown weary
and slumbered early into bed.
Each dark day she awoke to find
some bright thoughts in her head.

After many months had gone by the
old version of the woman was no more.
At last the eternal night was over
and she found a ray of sunshine to adore.

The woman had found love now
unlike she had ever known before.
This woman was a mumma bear
you'd be a fool to make her roar.

With loving arms wide open
and a smile cheek to cheek,
that sunshine pulled her broken heart
apart and mended it so sweet.

The woman now knows a song of glee,
I thank you my sweet son because
that woman lost was me!!!

The fierce love a mother has for her child can work miracles. Grandchildren can do the same thing. So glad you found your sunshine!
