There's a part of you that still lives in me.

There's a part of you that still lives in me.

A Poem by Fly By Feather
"

This one's for a failed romance.

"

We were a love
made in an assured
disaster

A love made in
innocent rebellion
of children waiting
for a happily ever after.

We've been caught in the
grim of boundless nights"
commitments in borders
and glances left unknown.

We hide the love
we knew that was real,
In hope we knew
that were never to wither
and let our hands meet
to spell forever.

But let me know why
have you let your hair grow
long, and let your eyes
be left unseen.

Let me know why
have you let your care
grow far from me,

and your heart
grow farther.

Author's Note

Fly By Feather
There's nothing poetic about failed romances, but we can make poetry out of it, right? I accept reviews. Thanks :)
