Be still my errant heart

Be still my errant heart

A Poem by PlaywithDestiny
"

Exquisitely and unfortunately, marching to the beat of my war drum heart.

"
Be still my errant heart,

For the same blood pumping through thine veins is surely as brackish and desolate as the waters that flow in the ancient river Styx,

Thy beat is fearfully reminiscent of Godless war drums set to the tune of a death march,

Flesh o'my heart how deeply infected you have become,
How monstrous is your appetite for not only your own demise but for those whom touch your innermost sanctum,

Doth thou not see the duality and causation that surround your very being,

How errant you are oh sickly decrepit heart o'mine,

The ominous craving for love and the deep seeded want for self destruction,

Oh how do I tame thee,
Errant heart o'mine,

Be still I pray, be still.
