Fly Faster

On a springs set day of green life
Springs forward a time of new possibility to the world
For the little blue jay who sees the loving Robin
For the little blue blue jay feeling blue
Without the robin flying to his world

Summer strikes with the angering bluest of skies
While the blue blue jay chooses no longer to hide
He flies
Off from his nest to the tree across the world it seems
Little blue blue jay fly faster
Lightning will strike with Summer's heat
A storm brewing
A little red robin flees from it's tree
Birds meant to meet

Fall's fearful days for the little blue blue jay
As with an injured wing he must still fly
Warm colored leaves falling about
The robin slows her speed
She slows her doubt
Though little red robins are much like little red riding hood
Fleeing from what is misunderstood

Winter's winds sharp and cutting into the little blue jays blue
He continues to fly with frostbite
Forgetting the tears frozen from time
Little blue blue jay feels the lonesome winter wait
The wait to see little red robin
Before it's too late

Spring's warm grasp takes a little cold blue blue jay
And warms his soul and heart
With a little warm red robin's
Soul and heart
