The past is gone

The past is gone:

Set in stone, and left alone

The past is gone, seen by none

The cycle of nine, has changed to one

Which were mine, given to some

The past is gone, the past is gone

Seen by none, all is gone

The future ahead, is going to let

The past be done, shines like the sun

I wish if the past could be gone so easily... well the hole left behind never covers itself!
Rather letting the light inside us through the breaks will allow you to be more optimistic and much better person than you were in the past.

Thank you for the review! :) The idea of the poem is that the past cannot be changed, but it doesn't keep you in chains. You don't have to focus on what happened in the past. I agree that you cannot fully forget everything, the main thing is just that when you meet new people they won't know what happened in your past and that you should not let the past determine what is going to happen next as well.
