A Bird in the Wind

 

Up high,

Flying in the sky.

Hope soars through the clouds,

Where faith astounds.

 

In need, the bird flies,

In search, by and by.

Its wings span

The sky as its dreams demand.

 

Searching far and wide

Until shelter it finds.

It spreads its confident wings, end to end,

A bird in the wind.

 

Seeing nothing for miles,

And though it tires,

It knows it’s on its way

To something great.

 

Gliding through the air,

To keep pursuing, it dares.

For its hope is stored

In the breeze once more.

 

I desire to live my life

Soaring high with God at my side…

For He will receive me at its end,

As a bird in the wind.

There is something along the poem that is unkown, mystical, yet hopeful. You were able to put in a certainty and an uncertainty at once. mixing two opposite things together in a correct way without it creating a problem is not easy yet you managed.
