A Thousand TeardropsA Poem by Melinda McQueenA Thousand
Teardrops Questions unanswered, Love not measured.
Hopes crashed, Dreams dashed.
The heart opens, Love deepens.
Shattering like glass, The hurt refuses to be masked.
Falling like rain, A thousand teardrops water the pain.
Drowning the soul, Letting the hurt flow.
Screaming to be freed, In search of inner peace.
Forming something tangible From the soul’s intangible.
Seeping out onto the surface in emotion From the deepest of the “bluest” ocean.
When the heart breaks, nothing can stop A thousand teardrops. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
