Taken to Heart

A love strong,

He gave His all.

The deepest of passions

Delivered us from the fall.

 

He looked down

And lit the spark.

The spark which lights the soul,

When taken to heart.

 

Filling us with love,

He knows every desire.

Strong enough to take our burdens

And purify them in the fire.

 

Every pain, every set back,

Every missed mark…

Your every tear…

Taken to heart.

 

In His hands

Every detail comes to pass.

Just trust in the Lord,

And He will hear what you ask.

 

Words uttered in quiet

Invites the King of kings to impart

His mercy and His grace…

When taken to God’s heart.

Well written and in line with a sound western religious belief. That is my objective interpretation of this... (you're not going to like what follows)

But fiction will not save you. Every missed mark, every tear taken to heart... that's on you and only you. Trusting and hoping for a higher power to nullify your tragedies and mistakes simply because you believe is not only irrational but a waste of precious time and intellectual effort.

Being spirtual is one thing... relying on belief to nullify your tragedies and mistakes is another, more insidious type of thing. (a byproduct of logical fallacies like 'a call to authority' via organized and systemic coercion)
