A Beloved Heart

 

To love much

Is to give your all.

To know someone through and through

Is to not let them fall.

 

While none is perfect,

Love is perfect from its start.

A willingness to uphold and carry

Is a beloved heart.

 

All the ins and out

Of the heart’s worth

Is no greater than the love it bestows--

The love it births.

 

It shines brightest

When pulled from the dark.

As a candle lit,

So, too, a beloved heart.

 

Light me a fire,

And it shall burn ever more.

The light of love will never be doused,

But forever soar.

 

Let me love,

Revering it as fine art.

For none is greater than

A beloved heart.
