The Art of Love

 

Everything seems to have a way--

A specific way to go about.

To be precise,

A notion to be found.

 

Some things cannot be spoken,

Lovers so try to articulate

All they feel inside.

The art of love translates.

 

O that words could rightly express

The complete power given.

The fullness of wealth

In which humans are driven.

 

Its vast mountains,

And even the deepest of valleys
Hold on dearly,

The art of love is to be.

 

For it never forgets,

Nor does it leave one alone.

It’s there in the heart,

Never its own.

 

For it seeks to exist

Even when locked away.

Ever meant to shine,

The art of love longs to display

 

Beginning in a cocoon state,

Hoping to grow beautiful wings

To soar through the human condition.

Its deeper than any could sing.

 

Let the heart say

“I am enough.”

Be not afraid to set free

The art of love.
