The Mustard SeedA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Mustard Seed
There once was a tiny seed Who was held inside a hand. Waiting to be birthed, To take its stand.
A small hole was created Which was graced with the Mustard Seed. Covered by soil, it received strength, In time, it grew into a huge tree.
It’s branches strong, Able to withstand. Remembering not when it was a tiny Mustard Seed Held in a hand.
Though once tiny in size, It sprung to life. The little Mustard Seed Had everything it took to survive.
Knowing what it is, The tree stands tall. Believing it has what it takes To be… once and for all.
There once was a Mustard Seed, Who was unwittingly used By a little girl who had faith In what God could do.
