The Impossible DreamA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Impossible Dream
It happened. After a long wait. It happened. The impossible dream made.
Like a refreshing rain After a summer’s drought. The impossible dream flourished And panned out.
A fruition in the making Finally opened blurry eyes; Seeing in complete color What the heart prayed for time after time.
It was there all along, Waiting to be manifested. The impossible dream has birthed From whence it rested.
A touch from the Divine Breathed life into its being, Spilling over into reality, The Impossible Dream.
