The Traveling Angel

 

Strong and true,

He goes about his business.

Called to go,

Willing to bless.

 

Light all about his being,

Filled with the Creator’s peace.

He has a message to deliver--

The traveling angel goes in Godspeed.

 

Bold is his armor,

Radiantly, he shines.

Armed with the Lord’s mercy,

He arrives in time.

 

In a time of need

He is sent out.

God’s protection called--

The traveling angel is in route.

 

With grace, he shows up

Just in time.

How great are God’s provisions

In sending help in His might.

 

Dutifully going about God’s truth,

He defies and remedy’s danger.

Searching the earth with purpose--

The traveling angel.

God does indeed send out his angels in our time of need. Sometimes answered prayers come in the form of a kind stranger and sometimes they come in the form of divine beings like angels.
