Dazzling Diamonds

Dazzling Diamonds

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Dazzling Diamonds

Stars twinkling in the night sky

Is beauty unto the eye.

The height of the dazzling diamonds

Offers reflection of the earth we live upon.

To look up and behold

Wonders of old.

For they’ve been in existence,

The dazzling diamonds, forever presence.

Lights against darkness,

Clearly seen from the highest.

A beacon to lift eyes

To leave one mesmerized.

How often we get down,

And no hope is found.

In times like these, be lights against darkness;

Dazzling Diamonds, faith at its best.

I have been a star gazer for as long as, I can remember. The heavens are far more beautiful than parts of our planet are. Lovely imagery Melinda.
