Unto Thee, My King

Unto Thee, My King

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Unto Thee, My King

How merciful is the mighty King,

Whose glory is to be seen.

The touch of Thy tender hand

Calms my every woe, my fears.

In Thee, my soul is humbled.

Rising each morning, let me sing…

Sing Thy praises, my whole heart.

Lifting up high, all Thou art.

Let my heart bow down low,

Like the sun kneels ev’ry eve.

Light unto my parched, hungered soul,

Thy grace fills my empty vessel.

How marvelous Thy kindness unto me,

How beautiful is Thy holy Name.

Let me ever proclaim Thy love.

I’ll ever bow my spiritual knees

Unto Thee, who’s on the throne.
