In the Story of Her Life

 

In the story of her life,
she writes all she bares.

Leaving not a stone unturned,
she writes all her cares.

 

In love with the process,
she writes with abandon.

Words flying full force,
like a loaded cannon.

 

At times, though, the words flow
she writes through a river of tears.

Memories wash in as a flood
when she writes of yesteryear.

 

Joys of times past,
she writes with a smiling face
and a laugh in her throat.

Some things even time cannot erase.

 

Living the best she can,
she writes daily.

Not merely with pen or keyboard,
but in making memories.

 

Vowing to live each day,

she writes to keep her dreams a-flight.

She lives to write
in the story of her life.
