Jesus, the Light

Jesus, the Light

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Jesus, the Light

The man in light

Came to give His life at will.

How His glory shines.

With powerful might,

He came with wisdom to instill.

The man in light.

A brilliant sight

To see Him in the real.

How His glory shines.

Inside pages of white

Paints a picture with zeal.

The man in light.

Accounts of His life

Speak of how they sought to kill.

How His glory shines.

Ultimately did He rise

To redeem the world unto eternity’s fill.

The man in light,

How His glory shines.
