Love Ever Follows

 

A place for love to unfold,

There is heart at its center.

Ready to hold

All who enter.

 

Sailing openly ov’r rolling seas,

Dipping through highs and lows,

Though it does not sink beneath.

Love ever follows.

 

Rough patches here and there

In untimely days,

But it always cares

And creates a way.

 

In these times, is it stronger--

Bending, but not breaking.

Instilling longer,

Love is giving, never taking.

 

Adding to the sum,

It brings about change.

A newness begun--

A clean slate.

 

No matter how you try,

Or how far you go…

You cannot hide.

Love ever follows.

Love is giving, never taking

That one line is one certainly for us to remember Melinda. Yes, love's journey moves on a tide of highs and lows. Relationships aren't always plain sailing, but the love should always be there. Nicely conveyed.
