Of Whom the Angels Sing

 

Open the gates,

Let the heart pour.

Freely giving praise

Unto the One adored.

 

Reciting the blessed birth

Of the truest King

In all the earth,

Of whom the angels sing.

 

The heavens must have bowed

Upon seeing the Christ child.

What reverence given in a vow

Of a baby, gentle and mild.

 

Did God’s very heart quake

When in His Son, His own soul He was seeing?

Beloved of the Father, who came to save,

Of whom the angels sing.

 

Glorious, glorious is Christ

Who left the throne to redeem.

A people’s demise

Sat upon His shoulders in His deed.

 

Pouring His love out,

Heaven was emptied of its greatest being.

Indeed, Christ came to love out loud!

Of whom the angels sing.

so inspiring McQueen! sometimes i imagine what the heavenly choirs might sound like ... the purity and power of the voices of Heaven ... rejoicing always in the glory of God the Creator and in His only Son, Jesus Christ ... some people think that our believing is "judging" or "non-inclusive" .. but it is so not the case eh!? our Creator supplied just one way to redeeming our fallen state .. which we all are in .. and all are welcomed .. no restrictions nor qualifications save one ... I believe ;) glad to have read your Faith building poem .. rejoicing in the true meaning of Christmas celebrations.
