Love RemainsA Poem by Melinda McQueenLove Remains
The air moves, All’s quiet. A deep breath swoons.
Greedy unto life, Flowing from here. Fighting against demise.
Panting for air As the heart longs for love, It’s ever there.
Time knows not when The end nears, When the earth stops its spin.
So does the heart stop To find its forever, Where there’s no clock.
Age to age… To eternity’s everlasting. More than a story’s page.
Through the pain Of suffering loss, Love remains.
