Meet Me Ov’r the Stars

 

Meet me there,

Where there are no more tears.

Where the Light casts out fear.

Where overwhelming joy abounds.

Where praises to the King shout.

 

Meet me ov’r the stars,

Way up high.

Above the blue sky

Stretched out in eternity,

Home of the forever crystal sea.

 

Meet me there,

Where love abides.

Where faith has eyes.

Where pain fades.

Where sorrow no longer stains.

 

Meet me ov’r the stars,

In the great beyond.

Let us take our fill,

Of the treasure so real.

The price has been paid

By the Savior who was slain.

A great poem talking of a heavenly life that is free of pain, fear and sadness just like the heaven i believe in too. It's surreal muse and I'm happy to hear that you too believe that heaven will be somewhere up over the stars and not this earth turned to paradise like some Christians believe. Kudos for a fab poem of faith.
