Goodbye, 2022

 

Memories made,

Time cherished sweet.

Love shared,

More than emotion deep.

 

You were of triumph for some,

And for others, a year of sadness.

All in all, we got through

Your many tests.

 

Laughter shared,

As were many tears.

Faith clung to.

Goodbye, 2022, you’ve been quite a year.

 

Lessons learned,

Accomplishments conquered.

Some, not so much.

Even so, prayers have been answered.

 

But hope deferred,

And prayers waiting in the wings

Call out, dependent on the Father.

Goodbye, 2022, let’s see what 2023 brings
