Don't Ever

Don't Ever

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Don’t Ever

I don’t love you anymore.

So, don’t you ever think

I can’t live without you.

If you decide to leave,

Know as a fact that…

I promise you this…

“I don’t need you.”

Never will you hear me say

That you are my joy.

I hope you know

I would be filled with happiness

If you’d just hear me out.

Are you listening?

  (Now, read bottom to top)

Sorry, this was my first attempt at this type of poem. Maybe I'll do a better one someday with a better meaning!
