![]() The Grave is EmptyA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Grave is Empty
The grave is empty Though they killed The Lamb. He defeated death; The Great I Am.
His work complete, Christ, the Savior risen to life. His power foretold, Revealing his might.
The grave is empty, The veil is mightily and forever torn. Thanks unto the King, Eternal life, born.
He put an end to death And claimed His creation His own. Yes, He banished hell, And
by His grace, He atoned.
How wonderful the Savior’s love Who died and took up life again, powerful. The grave is empty And our hearts full.
