My Sovereign KingA Poem by Melinda McQueenMy Sovereign King
My sovereign King, My praise I bring. Though You sit high, You are ever nigh. Your wonders astound me, Your grace surrounds me.
Though this life is filled with strife and pain, You are with me just the same. When doubt comes, Remind me You have just begun. I’m safe with You, My Savior true.
My sovereign King, To whom my soul sings. No matter what comes my way, You, Lord, are my stay. As the rain falls, You catch my tears, one and all.
May You be praised For the glory of Your Name. I know You are strong enough To hold me up. Yes, my faith is enough When times are tough.
My sovereign King, To You, I cling. You are big enough To handle my tiny stuff. My faith comes from Your love, So, it’s more than enough!
