My Man

My Man

A Poem by Poet_76

Sad eyes
You are a star in my faded eyes
I am drunk with love
You are the steady tranquility upon which I lay my head
You have sat in the darkest corners while venom has been spewed upon your fragile soul
Watching and waiting for your angel to emerge out of the darkness
One bright light to warm your cold fragile body that I wish my touch would heal
Soul to soul bond
Brown eyes
Please, my love
Do not weep
For is the word worth weeping for?
Your angel will guide your way
Take the weight off
You
Your love
Redefines the beauty of tenderness
You are peace.
