Poe gave us "The Raven"...

and Shakespeare so much more.

But when she played her mandolin...

what magic there was in store.

A world of light and sound and things...

that would make a beggar dance.

The joy of love and laughter sent...

a smile today by chance.

And on she played with whimsical fancy...

nor a care in this world.

Oh the day I heard her play...

that wonderful mandolin girl.

Thank you and God bless...Night.2011
