"One More Day"

"One More Day"

A Poem by Night

Posted On 01/14/2011 06:11:35

Moment by moment and day by day

I count my blessings as I pray.

The key to life He's given me

I look through eyes that finally see.

The road is narrow but my path is clear

my destiny draws ever near.

Nearer still to my journeys end

I walk with peace, my constant friend.

And he is with me by my side

making sure my steps dont slide.

And always in this life I'll pray

and ask Him for just one more day.

And in the night when I lay to rest

I thank the Lord that I've been blessed.

And when the morning sun does rise

tears of joy run from my eyes.

And from these lips these words I pray

Thank you Lord for one more day.

(James 4:14) - "Where as ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

Thank you and God bless...Night.2011
