She's the angel of my heart

an angel of the night.

She comforts me when no one would

She makes the darkness bright.

And in the darkened hours

in the quiet of the night...

We dance the dance of love

until the dawn of early light.

Each morning when I wake

it seems but just a dream.

It's then I see the blood red rose

and tears begin to stream.

I dream of night for when it comes

the fears just melt away.

Each night she lives within my heart

until the light of day.
