Fields of green and eyes of blue

To hearts content I dream of you.

I must be there deep down inside.

Where love's embrace so quietly hides.

And memories remain of a simpler time.

When in this world you were mine.

this reminds me of my first love...in high school...

the times were simpler, we were innocent and ready to jump in with both feet, no fear just reckless abandon...never been able to love like that again.

i long for that time again...but know it will never return.
