"The Winds of Change"

"The Winds of Change"

A Poem by Night

I39m right here...!

It’s time again, for I see the wind

A time to fly from this place I’m in.

Seasons come and seasons go

Time and chance, ebb and flow.

I see the movement in the distant sky

And in this chance my destiny lie.

Ordained by God to make things right...

The winds of change, the winds of life.

Author's Note

Night
...a baby locust is called a "Hopper". When they are young they cannot fly quite yet, so they must "hop" to move around. They do this by watching the tree tops for the moving of the wind...when they see the tree tops moving, they know it;s their time to "Hop" and catch the wind to fly...and so it is this story was born. For each of us timing is critical in this life. We, like the hopper, must watch for the "Wind"...it's our chance to fly. Thank you...Night.:)

I love this! Of course I am partial to nature poetry, but this is really good! Our destiny lies upon the winds of change and so it is important to know which way the wind is blowing. A very powerful message!
On a side note, farmers are unlikely to warm up to baby locusts hopping around! An excellent piece though Night, thanks for sharing!

...ah yes my friend, I pray they are too, thank you...:)
So filled with truth. The wind carries our lives somewhat involuntarily, yet we are allowed the chance to not go resistant to where it is taking us.

They whirl and swirl
Dipping down flying high
A groundless place
Those winds do find ..

Take wings .. find heavens high ..
