Born to me so long ago 
Entwined within this joyful soul... 

A child of light and darkness too 
Shades of grey and colored hue. 

Speaking the unspoken word 
 Dreaming dreams of things unheard. 

A child of wonder and golden light 
Spinning tales into the night. 

And in this heart a playful smile... 
I am imaginations child.

Our imaginations are unique as each snowflake that falls. Wonderful writing... we can choose which side to indulge in, how far to travel into darkness or light. The imagination has no limits and sometimes - that can be the scary part. :)

Ah... innocent. Well, that can be taken from us at even a very young age for a number of reasons. Wouldn't it be wonderful to hold onto innocence for decades, or escape back to it as an adult from time to time?
