Time

Time

A Poem by Echezonachukwu Nduka

O!,how time flies very
fast
Even much faster than light's
speed
Leaving all which dwell in the
Past
And runs to the future with a
new seed.

Seconds fly into impatient
minutes
Minutes race into hectic
hours
Hours dive into working
days
Days spring into festive
months
Months result into beautiful
Years.

Time gets pregnant on
her own
For it is so designed
by nature
At her own conveninece
and will
She delivers events as
her baby.

Time brings our hopes
to life
Time dries our tears
of strife
Time counts the light
and sound
Time wrestles our foes to
the ground.
