Sensation

Sensation

A Poem by Echezonachukwu Nduka

From the flowing purest
of streams
To the sweetest tickle in
my dreams
Silhouttes in my very
subtle mind
O'er every space and length,I
try to find.

'Tis this strange feeling
that dwell
In my innermost part
of being
Thus,it makes my head
to swell
Seeming simply larger than what an
eye has seen.

In my deepest thoughts
I ask
What feeling could this
be?
To me,it's like the sightless
sighting an ant
Which carries her food into
her hole.

Is the impossible about
to happen?
Shall the darkness overshadow
the morn?
Shall the morning sun hide her
pretty face?
Or shall the dew race back to
the heavens?

O!,let this feeling forever
be
Only a dream which troubles
my sleep
But that at the break
of dawn
The sun shall greet me with
her smiles.
