Poetry about two people.

Thanks for everything you did for me back in the day 
From day 1 to now I enjoyed our time
Thinkin' back to when we used to chill alone 
What glorious days we spent, isolated from the world 
Kept it real with each other, never told no lies
But now that time has flied by, time to say our goodbyes
I hoped one day we would meet again
To look back at it all again
Now here we are, standing tall and proud
Looking at each other knowing everything was worth it
