![]() Moon-ShadowA Poem by Butch DecatoriaThe islands are singing, Palawan seas' glittering fingers laps the shore, blue glow reflection of a liquid heaven and the great white waxing so close to this moon Here, newly just arrived, my first night welcomed by dancing palms, bird songs, and rivulets of waves' clapping hands as though saying "I know you" toes in the sand Still it is new again, as the sylphs of Gaia whispers siroccos to the distance of metropolis sin city industry now an effervescent kiss my goose flesh embracing the breezy whims of twilight Eden The islands sing memory as I sit in the solace of my moon shadow where once a boy hoped with every stone skipped on the surface of every morning wave, and now much grown, yet still as uncertain, this time save for the wishes Ride instead the caress of familiar sounds and the brine of cooler mists it is as if embracing a hug, "I know you" I whisper to the onyx and the sheen . The beach and Moon shadow as the starlight and tropic islands continue to sing beautifully recalling as I reacquaint with my beginning and furthered being while the wild is caterwauling. As one with which I am at home, rediscovery of that love ever more picturesque the Philippine twilight glow romancing acres of fresh. Meet my city Joe-Shmoe old island boy for you and I both are black and yellow-gold: Moon shadow Moon shadow. © 2015 Butch DecatoriaReviews
