Horticulture (Haiku)

Horticulture (Haiku)

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

HORTICULTURE
1. Beauty is not hard
    but delicate as flowers:
    our sons and daughters.
2. Blossoms portent fruit
for in truth better to grow
    seeds of tomorrow.
3. Be fruitful and strong
    not by your mass quantities
    but years you have fed.
