Boy-Addiction

Boy-Addiction

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

Let me begin

a hawk on its wings

practice my hunt

on beautiful-perverted thing

claws to mark you

twig of a meal

orphan of outrage

numb yet always feels

I saw you lean in

heard you think

unbuttoned your heart

for me to drink

Let me gleam

fevered filigree

in the confines of

your kenetics and abilities

we are similar

with our iron ease

beautiful grief

layers to peel

always to please

Can't we stay still

in this wineglass need ?

kiss like hours

in the dark of our deeds

dynamic boys rising to

howl, to feed...

Let me begin

hunter, addict, fiend

a man

in between.

I love this one. The pacing is perfect and the imagery depicted is both diverse and interesting. Very fresh and refreshing :)
